Chandrakani - Peak - Naggar - Base camp

Day 5 Chandrakani peak - Nauya Tapru

In the previou post I have mentioned we reached Chandrani peak. Now we have to climb down from 11751 ft.

Fun never ends in trekking and same applies to here.Ice sliding was the most memorable part.

First slide was horrible. I roll over and it hurt me very badly. But then I had some 6-7 slide which was fun. I did learnt the trek of ice sliding. All of us were very eager to slide. Our guide showed us the path and we reached our last camp with snow fall and rain. We were completely wet and we had to change the clothes. Already it was 5th day without bath. We didn't even came out of tent, once we got settled. Again I remember some one brought soup and tea for us. We were tired now.

Day 6 Nauya Tapru - Naggar

Morning when we woke up, we again went for ice sliding. Ttrek to Naggar was lengthier. It was mentioned 14 km but it was much more than that. Even other days also we trekked more than the theoretical values.

Last day also we climbed down with sliding. We came across small forest which we crossed with some ankle pain.

Then came the maggi moment. Again 100 bucks from our pocket.. It was raining and we used the platic sheet to cover our head and bag.

If you see the houses in Naggar it is built with woods and rocky stone. A perfect place for honeymoon couples . We saw many beautiful couples on the way.

I and Ashesh reached Nagar faster than others. We were supposed to have lunch but we waited for others. After one hour others reached and we had an awesome lunch. After having lunch we took bus to Kullu and on the way we got down in front of base camp.

When we reached base camp Hurray moment.

We rushed to our tents and it was time for bath. We had plan to go for river rafting but we cancelled in the last minute. Next day we said good bye to all and left for Dharmashala. Chandrakani is going to be remembered as one of the first step towards ambitious travel. I had small treks but it was my first national level trek. I should thank every one in CP3 troop for making it more memorable.

Thank you from my heart...

We will meet in some corner. For ladies tentwale we will meet in some trek for sure.
